Comic books offer huge universes to be explored, but finding specific ones in a store can be difficult, especially when it comes to rare issues. If you are not strict about having only printed copies, you can find all the comic books you want online, including rare ones. Once you find and purchase them, you can use Simple Comic to read them comfortably. It can handle various formats, including PDF and EPUB and it places a wide variety of useful tools at your disposal.

When launched, Simple Comic won't display a user interface until you load a comic, through the options on the menu bar. Once you load a comic, the application will display its pages on the entire height of the screen. You can sift through the pages by clicking the corresponding options, located on a toolbar, or by clicking and dragging in the appropriate direction.

The application allows you to choose between one-page and two-page layouts and it places three page scaling options at your disposal. You can also go to full screen mode, if you don't want to be distracted by anything on your desktop. Another useful feature is the magnifying glass, which can help you read small fonts or view small details, regardless of how the pages are displayed.

Pages are bookmarked automatically when you close Simple Comic, so you can resume your reading from where you've left off when you run the application. Furthermore, you can easily jump to other pages, by clicking on a progress bar, on the lower edge of the interface or by going to a thumbnail view of all pages, where you can select one.

Pros

Simple Comic's functionality is clean and simple. It allows you to switch between different page layouts and scales and it makes it easy to flip the pages. The best part is that it bookmarks your pages automatically.

Cons

There are no obvious drawbacks to mention. Simple Comic makes reading comic books a pleasant and comfortable experience.
